A voice, a memory, a tribute – to be cherished and treasured forever.

Vîyan Peyman was killed on 6th April 2015 near Serekaniye, a town also known as Ras al-Ayn in northern Syria. She was a poet and a singer, a voice of her movement, a symbol of strength for woman´s right and Kurdish people.

“Way Li Minê“ is a song about Kobani´s resistance, an unofficial anthem. “Even though we´ve lost our property – we´ve gained something more valuable, which is victory against terrorism” describes the song´s main message.
